Elevate Music Group vs Groover
Groover is a submission marketplace: you buy credits and send your track to curators, blogs and radio yourself. Elevate is a managed campaign: we do the pitching, run the Meta ads and book the creator videos for you, then report on all of it. Here is the honest difference.

The short version
Groover, launched in Paris in 2018, is a submission platform. You buy credits (Grooviz), browse a directory of curators, blogs, radio shows and labels, and spend credits to send your track to each one. Groover's core promise is that every contact you pay to reach replies within seven days, or your credit comes back.
Elevate Music Group is not a directory. You pick a campaign, we pitch curators on your behalf, run the paid advertising, book the creator videos and hand you a report at the end. You never open a submission dashboard.
Both models work. The difference is who does the work and what channels are in scope. Groover covers submissions only. Elevate covers pitching, advertising and creator promotion on one release, plus chart registration.

DIY submissions versus a managed campaign
Doing it yourself on Groover
- You choose every contact, write every pitch and track every reply
- Cost scales with the number of contacts you send to, per track
- Feedback is guaranteed, but a reply is not an add or a placement
- Nothing outside submissions — ads and creator videos are on you
- Best when you already know your genre's curators and have hours to spend
Elevate managed campaign
- We build the target list, pitch it and chase it — you approve and go back to writing
- One flat price per campaign, known before you start
- Playlist pitching, Meta ads and creator videos coordinated on the same release date
- Report with links you can verify yourself in Spotify for Artists
- Best when your time is worth more than the DIY discount
Where Groover is genuinely strong
We are not going to pretend a well-run platform has no value. Groover is good at these things:
- Direct, guaranteed written feedback from curators and blogs
- A large, browsable directory across many countries and genres
- Very low entry cost if you only want to test a handful of contacts
- Full transparency about who received your track and what they said
- Useful for building your own long-term curator relationships
Limitations to know about each
Both sides have real trade-offs.
- Groover: submissions only — no advertising, creator promotion or chart registration
- Groover: the work, the pitch writing and the follow-up stay with you
- Groover: guaranteed feedback is not guaranteed placement, and costs recur per track
- Elevate: no guaranteed written reply from every curator we pitch
- Elevate: we do not sell streams, bot activity or guaranteed chart positions
- Elevate: higher entry price than a small credit pack, because the work is done for you
Which one should you pick?
A good fit if…
- You want the release handled end to end and one report at the end
- You want playlist pitching, paid ads and creator videos working together
- You would rather spend your hours writing and recording
- You want curators vetted for real, engaged followings
Not a fit if…
- You specifically want written feedback from every contact you pay
- Your budget for this release is under $50
- You enjoy pitching and already have your own curator list

Elevate vs Groover FAQ
- Is Groover cheaper than Elevate?
- Per submission, yes — a few credits costs very little. Per campaign it depends on volume: once you are paying for dozens of contacts per release, plus running your own ads, the gap narrows and you are still doing all the work yourself.
- Can I use both?
- Plenty of artists do. Use Groover for direct blog and radio feedback, and Elevate for the managed playlist, ads and creator side of the same release.
- Does either guarantee playlist placement?
- No. Groover guarantees a reply, not an add. Elevate guarantees the work and the report, not a specific number of adds. Anyone guaranteeing placements or streams is selling you something you should not buy.
